Before You Book

Here are a few important things to know before your first appointment. We’ll guide you through the process, from completing your intake form to payment and making sure your referral is ready, so your session can run smoothly.

Intake Form

When booking, you’ll need to complete an intake form (around 20 minutes). This includes your contact details, background information, and some psychometric scales. Filling this out carefully helps your clinician prepare for your first session and ensures we can make the most of your time together.

Pricing & Payments

To confirm your booking, we securely keep your card on file. For new patient appointments only, payment is taken upfront. If you need to reschedule outside of our 48-hour cancellation policy, the payment can be refunded or reallocated to your new booking. Please note that cancellations within 48 hours will have the upfront payment applied towards the session fee.

Medicare Rebates & Referrals

Please ensure you have a valid referral addressed to the clinician you are booking with. We recommend sending this to us directly before your appointment so we can process it smoothly and avoid any delay in your Medicare rebate. You may also want to check if you are registered for the Medicare Safety Net to maximise your benefits.

When you’re ready, booking is simple. You’ll be taken to our Halaxy system, where you can select a time, complete your intake form, make payment for your first appointment, and confirm your booking securely online.
